Rural Power Systems Content Marketing Specialist Davis, CA · Full time

You’re a hands-on content creator: you take a video from idea to script to shoot to editing direction to thumbnail to posting on YouTube, write blog posts and case studies, produce web copy, then keep testing until it works. You’ll partner closely with our Social Media Specialist, who owns the channel strategy and community side, and with our Product Marketing Specialist on technical and product-focused content, so the content you create finds the right audience and builds toward real growth. • Support development of content and materials for trade shows and events.Capture lifestyle and product photos and videos, often on iPhone, for campaigns
  • Review and collaborate on email copy and storytelling for email campaigns; you won’t have to set up the journeys yourself, but you’ll bring exceptional copywriting skills and a strong sense of calls to action, urgency, and engagement
  • Design and run an A/B testing strategy for ad and organic creative, testing hooks, thumbnails, and formats, then acting on what wins in partnership with Social Media Specialist
  • Work closely with Product Development and our Product Marketing Specialists to launch new products, building the content, messaging, and campaigns that bring a new product to market
  • Produce the supporting content for each launch and partner with Social Media Specialist to push it out across every format: website, emails, long-form YouTube, short-form video (Reels, Shorts), photos, and posts
  • Own and manage our UGC library and relationships: sourcing, coordinating, and directing creators to keep a steady pipeline of authentic content
  • Help organize material and filming for our YouTube affiliates and UGC creators
  • Organize and maintain our content libraries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Customer Support, Engineering, Warehouse, and Sales teams
