- Are you passionate about animals and dedicated to providing exceptional care? We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team and share our commitment to delivering outstanding service to our loyal clientele and their beloved pets.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the public by checking dogs in and out
- Socializing and comforting the dogs
- Monitoring behavior and medical needs
- Scooping poop and maintaining cleanliness
- Ensuring fresh water is always available
- Feeding and caring for dogs, including cleaning dishes after feeding
- Doing laundry and maintaining clean bedding
- Cleaning cages, sweeping and mopping the kennel premises
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable with busy work and maintaining a clean environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours between 6:30 am and 9:00 pm
- Available to work day shifts, night shifts and weekends as needed
- Reliable and able to provide references
Shifts
- Hours will fluctuate between 6:30 am and 9:00 pm Monday through Sunday
