Position Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional dog bathing experience in a grooming salon and/or dog daycare environment
- Experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Ability to perform:
- Anal gland expression
- Nail clipping and grinding
- De-shedding treatments
- De-matting services
- Sanitary trimming experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation is a must
- English speaking required
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Monitor and maintain grooming supply inventory
- Keep accurate daycare records and track dog activities
- Ability to open and close the shop as needed
- Ability to check customers in and out
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal health, safety, and well-being
Compensation
- $20.00 per hour
- 100% of grooming tips retained by the employee
- W-2 employment
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 5 days per week (approximately 6–8 hours per day)
- Shifts may start as early as 7:00 AM and end as late as 6:00 PM
