Job Description:

As a Business Development Representative at ROXBOX Containers, Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by generating and tracking new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building strong relationships, and tracking the progress of leads through the sales funnel. Your efforts will directly impact our company's success and expansion. We receive dozens of warm inquiries a week and are looking for a motivated and organized BDR who is excited about the future of modular construction and can handle a high volume of sales opportunities. 


Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Initiate contact with prospects and engage in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our container-based solutions and tailor presentations to client requirements.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and be a trusted advisor to clients throughout the sales process.

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain and update a robust sales pipeline using CRM software by means of HubSpot to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Monitor the progress of leads through the sales cycle and take appropriate actions to move them forward.

Prospect and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients and market segments that align with our container-based building solutions.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry research.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with our design and engineering teams to create customized proposals and project plans that address client needs and specifications.
  • Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead negotiations and work closely with clients to finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure the successful closing of deals and transition of projects to the operations team.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential challenges.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate regular reports and updates on sales activities, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience - (3 years) or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • This position requires (2) years of construction experience
  • Experience in modular building, construction, shipping containers, and/or similar industries with a desire to learn more about modular construction.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools preferably HubSpot.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of construction or modular building industry (a plus).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, salary employment with benefits
  • Monday - Friday | occasional weekends/nights
  • Reports to the Chief Growth Officer
  • Work will be performed in an office.  Some remote or site visits as needed
  • Casual dress code
