Role Overview: Are you a driven financial advisor with a passion for expanding your book of business while also helping others grow? Rossby Financial is seeking a Business Development Advisor to play a dual-role in our firm: bringing advisors onto the platform and continuing to build your own financial advisory practice under Rossby Wealth, our wealth management division. This unique position offers a blend of business development and financial advising, combining the dynamics of recruitment with the satisfaction of client acquisition and retention in wealth management.  


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development

  • Identify, engage, and recruit talented financial advisors to join Rossby Financial 
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet firm growth objectives
  • Network within industry events and leverage professional connections to attract top talent to the firm
  • Conduct initial interview and proposal presentations to integrate new advisors into the firm


Financial Advisory

  • Maintain and grow your own book of business, providing exceptional financial advice and services to clients.
  • Develop and execute personalized financial strategies for clients, including investment planning, retirement planning, and risk management  


Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Series 65 license  
  • Proven track record of success in financial advising with an established book of business
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in recruiting or business development within the financial services industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire potential recruits
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving both personal and firm-wide objectives
  • Strong sales acumen and process
