Job Overview

We are looking for outstanding software developers to join our Software Engineering team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software for analyzing, managing, and visualizing complex biological data and working closely with our Scientific and Cloud Infrastructure teams.


Responsibilities And Deliverables


  • Design and implement key front-end components
  • Participate in architecture, design specification, and API development meetings
  • Embed with a collaborative team creating cutting-edge visualizations and design for analyzing large and complex data
  • Interface between scientists and software engineers


Requirements


  • 3–10 years in active Front-end or Backend development
  • Experienced in JavaScript (Typescript), HTML, CSS or experienced with Python backends
  • Experience building responsive web applications within a JavaScript MV-VM/MVC framework
  • Experienced in implementing REST and REST-like APIs
  • Experienced in asynchronous and reactive programming (eg. RxJS, observables, state, binding)
  • Worked on a team that has deployed a production web application with a massive, global user base
  • Interest in working on migration webapps to Htmx


Stand-out Qualities


  • Experience using D3 and Canvas
  • Experience in creating responsive web applications using AngularJS
  • Proficient in creating D3 visualizations on complex data sets
  • Background in biological sciences
