The Role

As a Hairstylist at Rooted, you’ll have the opportunity to build a career behind the chair within a salon that values education, growth, creativity, and an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Create customized hair experiences through thoughtful consultations, cutting, coloring, styling, treatments, and your areas of specialty.
• Build genuine relationships with your guests and create an experience that keeps them excited to come back.
• Take ownership of growing and maintaining a healthy clientele through rebooking, retention, referrals, and consistently great service.
• Educate your guests on professional products, at-home care, and service recommendations that support their hair goals.
• Continue developing your craft through Rooted education, outside education, and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Stay inspired and current with techniques, trends, products, and what’s happening within our industry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional workspace and contribute to the overall standards of the salon.
• Show up as a teammate. Support the people around you, communicate openly, and be willing to jump in when needed.
• Take an active role in your own growth by setting goals, tracking your progress, and working toward the next level of your career.
