We are seeking a compassionate and highly organized Member Experience Coordinator to serve as the front line of communication and support for our members. In this role, you’ll ensure a seamless and thoughtful experience across our digital health platform, helping members navigate their care, troubleshoot issues, and stay engaged throughout their wellness journey. You’ll also support our clinical team with administrative tasks that allow them to focus on delivering high-quality care.
Description
Location: Grand Rapids, Hybrid Position
Working Hours: Full-time, hourly (40hrs/wk)
Salary Range: $19-21 per hour, based on experience
Reports to: People Operations Manager
What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone, email, and SMS, ensuring timely, empathetic support.
- Guide members through onboarding, including how to use our telehealth platform, technical support, prepare for virtual visits, and understand their membership benefits.
- Collaborate alongside doctors, dietitians, and operations as needed to ensure an exceptional, integrated care experience.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing related to memberships and services.
- Adapt to evolving workflows and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment, continuously improving the member experience.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in customer service or similar support roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong digital fluency; comfortable working across tools like GSuite, Slack, CRM systems, and electronic health platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A self-starter mindset — proactive, dependable, and motivated by helping others.
Bonus if You Have
- Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling environment.
- Familiarity with functional or integrative medicine.
- Prior experience working with EHR systems or patient portals.
- Experience working remotely and independently
