Job Description

Roof America LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our growing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data related to our roofing projects, customer information, and other business records. This role is critical to ensuring that our project teams have the accurate information they need to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and update data into company databases and systems.
• Maintain and organize project files, invoices, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
• Verify and correct data discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information.
• Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Perform routine data backups and ensure data security.
• Respond to data-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the construction or roofing industry.
• Proficient in Google Suite and data entry software.
• Other software proficiency a plus - Monday.com, Formstack, Quickbooks Online
• Strong skills in Google Sheets are required
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with construction or roofing industry terminology is an advantage.
