Roger's Bar in Edgewater is looking for a FT bartender to join our team. We are located on 5505 W 20th Avenue inside Edgewater Public Market. Our ideal candidate embodies great customer service skills is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

BARTENDER

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly bartender who can provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Candidates MUST be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers needs and expectations while providing outstanding customer service.

Candidates MUST be professional bartenders with an extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine and beer. The ideal candidate should also be able to seamlessly integrate into our current team after 5 days of training, learning our recipes and passing our recipes test, and methods of operations. Open availability is required for this position.

Job Duties

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and food vendor patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Prepare cocktails
• Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Complete Opening/Closing/shift duties as assigned
• Change kegs
• Maintain a clean bar and community area

Requirements

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• TIPS or similar certification
• Ability to lift 50+lbs regularly without assistance
