What You'll Do
- Install, set up, and operate audiovisual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems
- Collaborate with clients to determine their audiovisual needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Assist with the planning and execution of audiovisual setups for events and presentations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies and trends in the industry
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of solid A/V experience in Live Events, Theatre, Touring etc
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting for audiovisual equipment
- Familiarity with mechanical components and ability to perform basic repairs
- Knowledge of computer hardware and ability to configure audiovisual equipment accordingly
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent adaptability and customer service skills (both verbal and written) to effectively communicate with clients and peers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required
- Experience in prior roles like Breakout Tech, Lighting Designer/Director, Master Electrician, Technical Director, FOH Engineer, Video Director, Camera Operator (PTZ/Broadcast), VDJ etc preferred
