What You'll Do

• Install, set up, and operate audiovisual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems
• Collaborate with clients to determine their audiovisual needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Assist with the planning and execution of audiovisual setups for events and presentations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies and trends in the industry

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of solid A/V experience in Live Events, Theatre, Touring etc
• Valid driver's license and clean record
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring
• Proficiency in software troubleshooting for audiovisual equipment
• Familiarity with mechanical components and ability to perform basic repairs
• Knowledge of computer hardware and ability to configure audiovisual equipment accordingly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Excellent adaptability and customer service skills (both verbal and written) to effectively communicate with clients and peers
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required
• Experience in prior roles like Breakout Tech, Lighting Designer/Director, Master Electrician, Technical Director, FOH Engineer, Video Director, Camera Operator (PTZ/Broadcast), VDJ etc preferred
