Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of RMD's product offerings, including window treatments, soft furnishings, upholstery, and wallpaper. Stay updated on the latest design trends.
  • Design Expertise: Provide expert advice and design solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Use your design expertise to recommend and sell RMD's products and services, achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's growth.
  • Sample Selection: Assist clients in selecting appropriate samples for their projects, considering fabrics, colors, and styles.
  • Measurements and Site Visits: Conduct on-site measurements and site visits to ensure accurate product sizing and installation requirements.
  • Quoting and Pricing: Prepare detailed quotes and pricing estimates for clients based on their design choices.
  • Order Processing: Manage the order process, from product selection to procurement and installation scheduling.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with RMD's custom workroom and installation teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with RMD's business goals. This includes identifying target markets, generating leads, and creating effective sales campaigns.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong client relationships by actively listening to their needs, concerns, and preferences. Keep clients informed throughout the sales process.
  • Closing Deals: Utilize your persuasive skills to successfully close sales, ensuring that clients choose RMD for their design needs. Overcome objections and provide compelling reasons to choose our products and services.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services, enhancing the overall value of each client's project.
  • Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress towards sales targets. Provide regular reports to management regarding your sales performance.
  • Networking and Lead Generation: Actively network within the design and home improvement industry to generate leads and referrals. Attend industry events, trade shows, and design expos to expand your client base.
  • Product Knowledge Sharing: Educate clients on the features and benefits of RMD's products and services. Explain how our custom workroom and design expertise set us apart in the market.
  • Sales Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest sales techniques and methodologies through ongoing training and professional development. Share your knowledge and mentor junior team members


Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in sales, particularly in the interior design or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
