Custodian Job Description

A Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within assigned buildings or facilities. This role performs routine cleaning duties, ensures supplies are stocked, and supports the overall maintenance of the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, and mop.
• Wipe down surfaces, including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials.
• Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure safe storage of materials.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly.
