The Dishwasher at Rita's on the River supports daily kitchen operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting food safety standards, efficient service, and overall restaurant operations. With our high volume and fast pace, Dishwashers are essential to delivering the great River Walk experience we’re known for.

Description
As a Janitor at Rita’s on the River, you’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in creating a smooth, clean, and safe overall restaurant experience. You’ll support the Company by helping maintain a exceptionally tidy restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
- Keep dishwashing areas, floors, and drains clean and organized.
- Properly store clean dishes and maintain supplies for service.
- Remove trash, recycling, and waste throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with FOH & BOH teams and leadership
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stay active and move quickly for long periods
- Team player with a positive, helpful attitude
- Must be punctual, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced setting
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Compensation & Benefits:
- $15-16 per hour
