Rita’s on the River is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging team member to be a Cooking Class Facilitator. This is an internal opportunity open exclusively to current Rita’s employees at this time. The Cooking Class Facilitator will lead hands-on cooking experiences for guests in Rita’s Test Kitchen, creating a fun, welcoming, and educational environment while representing the Rita’s brand.
As a Cooking Class Facilitator, you will lead guests through Rita’s cooking classes, teaching them how to prepare signature Rita’s recipes while sharing the food, culture, and traditions behind them. Current classes include tableside guacamole, the El Jefe Margarita, and tamales from scratch.
Approved facilitators will receive training on the recipes, preparation techniques, class format, and expectations before independently leading classes.

As part of the interview process, applicants will be asked to prepare and deliver a 15-minute presentation on a topic of their choosing. The topic does not have to be related to cooking. This presentation will allow us to evaluate your communication skills, presentation style, ability to engage an audience, and comfort teaching others.

$25 - $25 per hour
