Job Title: Bartender

Location: Rita's on the River, San Antonio, TX

Hours: Full-time (Closed on Sundays)

Overview:

Rita's on the River is seeking an energetic, friendly, and skilled Bartender to join our team! You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, crafting high-quality drinks, and ensuring guests enjoy their time in our vibrant, Tex-Mex environment on the River Walk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and professionally with a friendly attitude.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Rita’s recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers, suggest drinks, and answer questions about the menu.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the preparation and storage of ingredients.
• Adhere to all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Restock and replenish bar supplies and inventory as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, as well as maintaining the overall cleanliness of the bar area.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to create a seamless and positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and drink preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have TABC & Food Handler's certification .
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday (Rita's is closed on Sundays).
• Knowledge of Tex-Mex cuisine and drinks is a plus.
