The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing inbound small commercial insurance opportunities from lead qualification through policy binding, delivering tailored solutions while supporting the overall success of the commercial team.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Specialist to join our commercial insurance team. This role is focused on servicing and closing inbound sales opportunities for small commercial accounts with expected annual revenue under $2,500. As the primary point of contact for these prospects, the Inside Sales Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, accurate policy recommendations, and efficient turnaround for small business clients seeking insurance coverage.


In this role, you will manage the full sales process from start to finish. Responsibilities include qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls to assess risk and coverage needs, preparing and submitting applications to underwriters, and presenting tailored insurance solutions to prospective clients. You’ll work across a variety of commercial lines and carrier platforms, helping clients navigate options while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and carrier underwriting standards.


Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple small-scale opportunities simultaneously. The Inside Sales Specialist will also coordinate with our broader commercial team on special initiatives, cross-team workflows, and process improvements to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to the overall growth of the agency.

$44,000 - $62,000 per year
