Core Responsibilities 

We are looking for individuals looking to start their cybersecurity careers who are passionate about technology & innovation and who are looking to step into a highly visible role with a diverse set of high-growth tech clients across the US. This position will report to a vCISO Consultant.   

In this role, you will: 

  • Leverage foundational knowledge of technology, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity to advise clients how to transform their existing IT, risk, and business capabilities.  
  • Complying with risk3sixty’s code of ethics and professional conduct, methodologies, policies, tools and procedures 
  • Able to work independently and own tasks or an entire project workstream  
  • Executes high quality client engagements including assessments, requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, and ongoing security managed services 
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a way that retains the underlying meaning but is understandable for non-technical experts  
  • Completing assigned duties and tasks in a timely manner and with a high attention to detail 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where no two weeks are the same 
  • Contributing to risk3sixty’s though leadership (i.e. webinars, blogs, whitepaper)  

 

Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math’s, or related subject or 3 years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessments, consulting or compliance  
  • Demonstrated success in a technical role (Engineering, NOC, systems admin, etc.)  
  • Requisite knowledge of applicable technology and security domains  
  • Maintains or working towards obtaining least one of relevant certifications to risk3sixty’s services (i.e. CISA CISSP, CSSK, AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner)  
  • Ability to work in a team, and develop high-quality materials 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

 

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
