Position Overview
Right Way Reps is seeking an experienced, motivated Mountain Territory Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote position responsible for managing and growing multiple premium pet brands throughout the Mountain Territory.
Territory includes the following states:
- Colorado
- New Mexico
- Utah
- Wyoming
The ideal candidate is passionate about the independent pet industry, thrives on building relationships, enjoys traveling, and is driven by helping both brands and retailers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales for multiple pet brands throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent pet retailers and distributors.
- Execute brand sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular in-store visits, product presentations, and sales calls.
- Train retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising best practices.
- Partner closely with brand partners to execute sales initiatives and achieve growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and territory activity.
- Represent Right Way Reps and our brands professionally at trade shows, industry events, and retailer meetings.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure exceptional service and communication.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pet industry
- Proven outside sales and territory management experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and presentation abilities
- Experience training retail teams and conducting product education
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify opportunities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
- Existing relationships within the independent pet retail channel
- Experience working with pet food, treats, supplements, or pet specialty brands
- Experience working with distributors and manufacturer representatives
