We are seeking a part-time, remote Google Workspace Migration Specialist to lead and execute migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. In this role, you will own migration projects end-to-end—from planning and data discovery through execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.
You will work directly with clients to understand their environments, design migration strategies, and ensure a smooth transition of mail, calendar, contacts, and file data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality outcomes in client-facing environments.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud engineering, or systems administration
- Proven experience performing migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace (mail, calendar, contacts, and file data)
- Strong experience with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan MigrationWiz, or CloudM
- Working knowledge of identity and access systems including Azure Active Directory and Google Cloud Identity
- Experience migrating Exchange Online mailboxes, SharePoint/OneDrive data, and Teams environments
- Strong understanding of email systems (SMTP, routing, DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell and/or Python preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot migration issues including data integrity, permissions, and sync errors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-scale migrations (500+ users)
- Familiarity with coexistence strategies and phased migration approaches
- Experience configuring and administering Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console)
- Knowledge of compliance, retention, and data governance considerations during migration
- Experience integrating or migrating third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, SIS platforms)
- Google Workspace or cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Google Workspace Administrator)
