Rex Academy K-12 EdTech Account Executive (Trial Period for Permanent Placement) Remote · Full time

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, reaching out to potential school partners, and closing sales. This is a commission-only position with a $100,000 sales goal for the initial 3-month contract (average sale is ~$25,000). Successful candidates will have the opportunity to earn a permanent spot on our sales team, with a base salary, plus commission, and potential for advancement into leadership roles.

Contract Duration: 3 months - commission only, with potential for permanent placement


Responsibilities:

- Identify and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients

- Negotiate and close sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings


Requirements:

- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. No non-residents will be considered.

- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong ability to close deals

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated and results-oriented

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

- Experience in education technology sales, especially K-12 SaaS sales, is a plus

- Familiarity with K-12 schools and their needs is preferred
