Title: Salesforce Consultant

Location: Remote - US (Preference for Arizona Resident)


Role Overview:

RevOnyx is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and executing Salesforce configurations, automations, integrations, and data management. You will work closely with clients to ensure technical implementations align with their business needs while adhering to best practices. As a key member of our team, you’ll drive Salesforce technical projects, analyze data, provide consulting services, and integrate systems to enhance operational efficiency and revenue growth.


RevOnyx is a RevOps-as-a-Service agency specializing in Salesforce transformations for small/mid-market technology companies. By blending CRM optimization, advisory services, & tech stack integration design, RevOnyx is a one-stop-shop for businesses seeking to increase revenue potential.


Contract Details:

  • 6-month contract role with a planned transition to full-time employment (W2) upon successful completion of the contract period.
  • Target of 25-30 billable hours per week.
  • Pay range: $6,000 - $9,000 per month, based on experience and availability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Salesforce technical projects through an agile and iterative process, ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce settings, create custom fields, validation rules, business processes, page layouts, and user permissions.
  • Design and implement automations and workflows, ensuring efficient processes across sales, marketing, and customer support.
  • Manage and oversee integrations between Salesforce and other business applications (e.g., marketing automation, customer support tools).
  • Ensure data integrity through data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment.
  • Research Salesforce best practices and emerging trends to enhance system capabilities.
  • Define acceptance criteria and conduct user testing to validate implementations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including sync errors, data discrepancies, and workflow malfunctions.
  • Maintain clear documentation of technical implementations using tools like ClickUp, Loom, and Harvest.
  • Track and manage billable hours through Harvest, ensuring detailed time descriptions for client work.
  • Communicate potential project blockers and coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Provide hands-on training to end-users on new Salesforce functionalities and workflows.
  • Maintain active Salesforce certifications and stay current with platform updates and industry advancements.


Preferred Technical Experience:

  • Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, & Service Cloud.
  • HubSpot Administration experience and active certifications a huge plus!
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party RevOps tools (e.g., Outreach, Apollo, LeanData, DocuSign, DealHub, ChiliPiper, SalesLoft, ClickUp, ChurnZero).
  • Strong flow-building and troubleshooting ability, with experience designing, testing, and deploying new functionality in complex orgs.
  • Understanding of data management best practices, including deduplication and enrichment strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management and time tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, Harvest).


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Salesforce Consulting / Administration role.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce CRM and integrated RevOps tools for SaaS/Technology companies.
  • Active Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Administrator (additional certifications preferred).
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to be available during regular business hours for client meetings and collaboration calls with the RevOnyx leadership team.
  • Preference for candidates based in Arizona; must be located in the US.
