Our clinic brings together Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology to provide comprehensive, person-centered care that addresses the whole individual. We focus on building meaningful therapeutic relationships, collaborating across disciplines, and helping older adults remain independent, safe, and engaged in the activities and communities that matter most to them.

We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary outpatient therapy clinic serving adults 62 years and older.

The position has flexible hours and the ability to follow a patient through their full plan of care. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing the OT caseload in a sustainable manner. The OT is responsible for the evaluation of each patient and carrying out appropriate interventions for their physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning using evidence-based practices and assessments.

 ·        Schedule: Flexible, although the clinic generally operates Monday-Friday, closed on holidays.

·        Wage: $40.00-$50.00/hour depending on experience with increase in salary possible based on caseload growth

 

Skills:

·        Master or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current Washington state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to develop individualized, functional treatment plans.
• Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think creatively and functionally when addressing barriers to independence.
• Flexible, adaptable, and self-directed, with initiative to build the OT caseload and shape services to meet client and community needs.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
