About Revby:

Revby is a coaching and consulting service for small business owners. Our services include business and marketing consulting, strategy development, digital presence development, website development, and ongoing business, marketing, and operations support. Our work has a particular emphasis on community-based small businesses and minority-owned, women-owned, and immigrant-owned businesses. We contract with municipal and other economic development programs to provide services to their local small business communities. We are present in over 8 states and growing.

 

About the Role:

We have an opening for a new Operations & Technology Specialist to join our growing, diverse team to support the administration, digital operations, and client service project management needs for our small business consulting business. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who has interest in being part of a social impact consulting business and is motivated by problem solving and measurable outcomes with small business owner clients.

The role will include the coordination and implementation of our internal operations technology stack. This includes all our project management, communications, office productivity, CRM, and marketing technology applications that work together for optimal and scalable operations. If you are an expert at Zapier and comfortable with SaaS apps and APIs, this role may be a good fit.

 

Primary responsibilities:

The role will involve wearing several hats to support the administrative and technical operations of the business in several ways:

  • Lead our back-office operations and technology strategy, including implementation and maintenance of app integrations / app automation.
  • Provide project management support to ensure client projects run smoothly and on time.
  • Assist with small business and government client projects.
  • Coordinate a high volume of client meeting schedules.
  • Represent the company on client calls/meetings on topics that pertain to project administration and operations.
  • Lead back-office administrative tasks and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and business development support for the company owner.

 

Desired Experience:

An ideal and qualified candidate will either have experience and/or qualities in the following areas:

  • Entrepreneurial and creative spirit
  • Experience or interest in working with micro-enterprises (businesses with 10 or fewer employees)
  • Experience or interest in working with diverse communities, including BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+ business owners
  • Strong team collaboration and time management skills
  • Intermediate to expert abilities with implementing and managing SaaS platforms such as a CRM system, project management tools, marketing platforms, and other business-related tools.
  • Ability to use Zapier for app integrations
  • Ability to produce professional reports and presentations (i.e., strong PowerPoint and Excel skills)
  • Communications management (Zoom meetings and webinars)
  • Ability to lead and facilitate client meetings virtually and in-person; this skillset includes having a customer-service and problem-solving mentality; customer-service and customer-experience minded

 

 

As Revby is a small business as well, there are opportunities for each Revby employee to contribute to the growth strategy and business development of the company. This role will report to the Owner/Founder of the company.

 

Education:

  • Undergraduate level degree required
  • Training or certification in relevant technology or other business subject matter a plus

 

Language Requirement:

  • Fluency in English required; strong English business writing skills required
  • Fluency in Spanish or other language a plus but not required
