What You’ll Do:

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll work alongside an experienced team member to help restore homes and businesses affected by water, fire, and mold damage. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Assisting in setting up and monitoring drying equipment
  • Helping remove damaged materials like drywall and flooring
  • Cleaning and sanitizing affected areas
  • Conduct thorough inspections to determine the extent of damage
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport, and keeping clients informed and reassured throughout the process. Confidently explain the steps of the mitigation process.
  • Utilize industry-leading techniques and equipment to mitigate loss.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in restoration services is required. Construction knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism. Ability to make a personalized connection with clients.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player. Ability to develop, learn, and properly apply operation and work procedures.
  • Work well with teammates and provide suggestions and always improve our project productivity and final results.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor as required.

Duties:

  • Construction of containment systems and critical barriers
  • Monitoring of environmental controls and negative pressure
  • Operation of air scrubbers and negative air machines
  • Monitoring moisture and humidity
  • Precision demolition
  • Removal of contaminated building materials
  • Post-remediation detailed cleaning and fire odor restoration
  • Perform dry-checks
  • Water damage emergency response and monitoring
  • Mold remediation
  • Biohazard cleanup
  • Vapor barrier/encapsulation install
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment
  • Proper use of PPE equipment including respirator, gloves, and goggles.
  • Can work independently to complete jobs if needed
  • On-call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Demands:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-100 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects, and work with/around cleaning agents
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
