Seeking a provider to diagnose and manage these conditions.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Provide specialized care in areas such as hospice palliative medicine, pediatrics, and home care.
Perform procedures including catheter care, spinal taps, and laboratory tests.
Develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of patients, particularly those with disabilities.
Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and medication administration.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Current Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with hospice palliative medicine is a plus.
Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of various treatment modalities.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate care tailored to their needs.
Knowledge of pediatric care practices is desirable.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to perform diagnostic tests as needed.

$80 - $200 per hour
