Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual mental health counseling and behavioral therapy.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies as necessary to support clients in distress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress using ICD-10 coding standards.
• Engage with patients to educate them about treatment options and support strategies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license with capacity to practice independently.
• Proven experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong background in behavioral therapy and crisis intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with case management processes and patient care best practices.
• Proficient in using DSM-5 codes for documentation purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• 1+ years of mental health therapist experience is preferred.
