Description

Ann Arbor · Plymouth · Northville · Farmington, MI

Come practice the way therapy was meant to be.

If you’ve ever felt constrained by rigid, symptom-only treatment plans or corporate productivity quotas, you already know why Reset Brain and Body exists. We built a practice that honors the whole human—integrating somatic, nervous-system, and mind-body approaches into our clinical work.

We are expanding our specialty care and looking for a fully licensed psychotherapist with a strong clinical focus on women's health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), postpartum psychotherapy, and menopausal mental health support. Ideal candidates bring specialized training—such as from Postpartum Support International (PSI)—and want to practice alongside a supportive, highly collaborative team.

Why Reset Feels Different

  • Autonomy over rigid protocols: We provide the safety and structural support to meet clients where they are, using the somatic and specialized modalities you know work.
  • A W-2 environment built for longevity: Enjoy financial stability, strong benefits, and a sustainable caseload designed to prevent burnout:
  • Full-Time: ~30 total hours/week, maintaining 20 to 25 completed sessions weekly (~23 target / 1,080 annually).
  • Part-Time: ~20 to 22 total hours/week, maintaining 17 to 20 completed sessions weekly (~18 target / 780 annually).
  • Workplace culture that isn't just a marketing line: We are a Certified Great Place to Work®. Expect weekly consultation hours, shared learning, and a team that shares the weight of this work.
  • Healing spaces: Warm, serene offices designed for calm, grounded sessions across our Southeast Michigan locations (in-person or hybrid capacity).

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality, integrative psychotherapy focusing on women’s health, including perinatal mental health, postpartum transitions, and menopausal support.
  • Utilize trauma-informed, mind-body modalities tailored to the client (e.g., somatic work, EMDR, IFS, or mindfulness).
  • Maintain caseload commitments commensurate with your part-time or full-time commitment.
  • Participate in weekly team consultations, professional development, and community connection.
  • Embody the core pillars we teach: breathe, move, nourish, connect, rest.

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensure: Fully licensed in Michigan as an LPC, LMSW, LP, LLP, or LMFT.
  • Clinical Specialization: Dedicated focus or advanced training in women's health, perinatal/postpartum care (PMADs), and/or menopausal mental health support.
  • Preferred Credentials: Training or certification through Postpartum Support International (PSI) is a strong plus.
  • Alignment: A grounded, curious clinician who values integrative, somatic, and trauma-informed care.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $125,000 / year (W-2 employment status, scaled to hours)
  • Healthcare: 50% - 75% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company match
  • Time Off: Generous PTO + flexible scheduling that respects your life outside the practice
  • Growth: Monthly professional development stipend + ongoing in-house consultation
