Position Summary
Are you a fully licensed psychotherapist who is passionate about integrating mind, body, and spirit into therapeutic work? Reset Brain and Body is expanding, and we’re seeking a compassionate, experienced clinician to join our leadership team as a Clinical Supervisor.
In this role, you will blend your clinical expertise with holistic approaches—such as mindfulness, somatic or movement-based practices, creative expression, meditation, yoga, EMDR, sports psychology, breathwork, hypnosis, or energy-focused modalities- to support clients in creating meaningful and sustainable change.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for guiding and developing a team of up to eight clinicians, offering ongoing supervision, clinical oversight, and support within their discipline. As a key member of Reset’s Clinical Leadership team, this role ensures adherence to policies and compliance standards while contributing to strategic planning and organizational initiatives.
The ideal candidate will uphold Reset’s mission, values, and therapeutic philosophy while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented clinical culture.
Training & Onboarding (First 3 Months)
Newly onboarded supervisors will:
- Slowly ramp up clinician assignees
- Complete 45–60 hours of required licensure training
- Participate in leadership supervision, group supervision, and clinical meetings
- Review and sign off on notes as a billing supervisor for limited licensed therapists
- Co-facilitate clinical development meetings
- Begin developing a designated supervisor specialty area
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Caseload Management (Up to 20 hours/week)
- Maintain a weekly caseload of 15 clients (approx. 65 monthly, 780 annually)
- Provide high-quality, ethical therapy consistent with license and competencies
- Complete clinical documentation and administrative duties in a timely manner
- Attend biweekly consultation groups
- Meet with the Clinical Director twice monthly for check-ins
Clinical Leadership & Professional Development (Up to 10 hours/week)
Participate in leadership meetings and key clinical team meetings including:
- Supervisor Consultation Group: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 10–11 am (Zoom)
- Monthly Clinical Leadership Meeting: 1st Wednesday, 9–11 am (Northville office)
- Quarterly Strategic Leadership Meetings: 3rd Wednesday every 3 months, 9–11 am (Zoom)
- All-Clinical Meetings: 2nd Tuesday, 9–11 am
- Clinical Development Sessions: 4th Tuesday, 9:30–11 am (help facilitate)
The role also requires:
- Stay current on research and best practices
- Participate in CEU, training, and individual professional development
- Co-interview clinical candidates as needed
- Lead and execute initiatives within one or more Specialty Areas
Specialty Areas
Supervisors will lead projects in at least one of the following areas.
Compliance & Clinical Escalation
- Support supervisors/clinicians with complex cases
- Coordinate referrals to higher levels of care
- Maintain accurate referral resources
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Maintain compliance documentation and communicate updates
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Partner with People Operations in talent acquisition
- Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations
- Support onboarding, tech training, and onboarding guidebook updates
Internal & Online Training Development
- Organize internal training resources and shared drives
- Coordinate CEU registrations
- Help create client-facing educational materials
- Identify and communicate external CEU opportunities
Community Outreach & External Programming
- Assist with outreach initiatives and partnerships
- Support workshop coordination and curriculum vetting
- Coordinate CEU credits for external programming
- Partner with leadership/marketing on events and presentations
Clinical Supervision (Up to 10 hours/week)
Lead required group and individual supervision sessions:
- Lead Supervision Group: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 9–10am
- 1:1 Supervisory Meetings:
- Variable/PT: 30 min twice per month or 60 min once per month
- FT & LL clinicians: 60 min twice per month
- Manage up to eight FT/PT/variable-status clinicians
- Support escalated cases, crisis communication, and client concerns
- Conduct performance reviews and issue improvement plans when needed
- Maintain team communication, disseminate updates, and ensure alignment with policies

Qualifications
Educational & Professional Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Current Michigan licensure: LCSW, LPC, LP, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years post-full licensure
- Minimum 6 years of clinical experience
- Specialty training in trauma-informed or somatic modalities (e.g., EMDR, Yoga Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, Movement Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis)
Internal candidates:
- At least 6 months with Reset
- In good standing and meeting all current job expectations (FT or PT)
