Relationship Counseling Center of California (RCCofCA) is seeking an associate therapist (ACSW, AMFT, or APCC) to join our identity-affirming and trauma-informed group practice. This full-time role is ideal for clinicians who want meaningful clinical work, flexibility, and strong supervision; without crisis work, on-call expectations, or burnout culture. You’ll work with engaged, low-to-moderate acuity clients in a hybrid setting, supported by clear systems, collaborative teammates, and leadership that values communication, accountability, and sustainable practice.
Relationship Counseling Center of California (RCCofCA) was born from a simple, lived truth: a single compassionate intervention can change the arc of a life. From this space, a group practice in California was designed to hold radically inclusive clinical care and clinician development in equal measure.
Our purpose is straightforward: to create a safe, practical space where people learn who they are and how they want to present themselves authentically to the world. That promise applies to clients and clinicians alike. We train and supervise associate-level clinicians so people who join RCCofCa can grow in the directions they choose. Our clinical approach is intentionally personalized and evidence-informed: therapeutic plans are bespoke to each person, co-created with clients, and always delivered through an identity-affirming lens. When a client arrives carrying multiple intersections of identity, our aim is to reflect, hold, and collaborate.
Culture at RCCofCA is operational, not aspirational. We model an open-door leadership approach, formal supervision, and measurable milestones, and we invest in clinician development. Our systems are designed to enable clinicians to focus on the therapeutic relationship and their professional development.
We are uncompromising about safety and ethics: strict HIPAA compliance, annual privacy training, and an explicit no-retaliation stance within our open-door culture. Our leadership model intentionally separates clinical stewardship and operational authority so clinical fidelity and sustainable operations co-lead decisions.
If you work here, you’ll be asked to bring your craft, curiosity, and compassion. We’ll ask you to be identity-affirming, evidence-informed, and accountable. In return, we’ll provide training, supervision, and an organization designed to help you grow on the path you choose. Above all, when people — clients or clinicians—show up as themselves, we are here for them.
RCCofCA is an identity-affirming, trauma-informed, relationship-centered group practice built for clinicians who want to do real work without burning themselves out. We serve thoughtful, engaged clients (mostly low–moderate acuity), and we’re big on doing therapy that’s ethical, affirming, and sustainable.
We’re hiring associate therapists (ACSW, AMFT, APCC) who want flexibility, solid supervision, and a team that actually communicates. No on-call. No crisis work. No “just push through” culture.
If you want autonomy and support, this might be your spot.
Extras:
We’re a small practice, so how you show up counts.
We’re looking for clinicians who:
Basically: be solid, be accountable, don’t be a lone wolf.
Nice-to-haves (not required):
No judgment, just alignment.
We believe therapy works best when clinicians are supported, trusted, and not overextended. Our practice is affirming, trauma-informed, and values-driven, and also practical. We care about systems, boundaries, and sustainability just as much as we do about clinical depth.
We’re building something intentional. If that resonates, we’d love to hear from you.
