Location: Perham, Wadena, and surrounding communities (In-home & Clinic-Based)
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $21.56 – $23.47 per hour + mileage reimbursement

Position Overview
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / EIDBI Level 2 Provider, you will deliver 1:1, play-based, and skill-building interventions to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions.
You will work under the supervision of a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to implement individualized treatment plans that build communication, independence, and meaningful life skills across home, clinic, and community settings.
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct, 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients
- Implement individualized treatment plans with high fidelity
- Teach critical skills including:
- Communication
- Daily living skills
- Social interaction
- Emotional and behavioral regulation
- Collect accurate session data to track progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with caregivers to support skill generalization
- Participate in ongoing supervision, coaching, and training
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapy environment
- Follow all ethical, clinical, and documentation standards

Qualifications
Required:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
- 1,000 hours of supervised experience with individuals with ASD or related conditions
- Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 60 days of hire
- Completion (or willingness to complete) DHS EIDBI 101 and Level II training
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within structured protocols
Preferred:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in ABA, early intervention, or human services
- RBT certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Multilingual or multicultural experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Services provided in homes, clinics, and community settings
- Active, play-based sessions requiring:
- Sitting on the floor
- Kneeling, bending, and movement
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and responsive during high-energy sessions
