What You'll Do
Your day-to-day will vary depending on the project. You might start the morning framing walls on a new lakeside build and spend the afternoon installing trim on a kitchen remodel across town. Core responsibilities include:
- Assist with framing, rough carpentry, demolition, and site preparation
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials under the direction of lead carpenters
- Load, unload, and stage materials and tools at job sites
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and maintain them properly
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe — we leave every site better than we found it
- Participate in project walkthroughs and quality checks as your skills develop
- Follow all safety guidelines and Refine Homes standards
What We're Looking For
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Vergas / Detroit Lakes area
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work on your feet in all weather conditions
- Basic familiarity with construction tools and equipment (we'll teach the rest)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Previous construction or hands-on trade experience is a plus but not required
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule
Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Hours may shift depending on the job site and season, with occasional overtime available.
