Redwood Counseling LLC is an outpatient mental health private practice located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Established in August 2024, the practice was founded on the belief that “every story matters” and that each person deserves care that honors their unique history, experiences, strengths, and goals. Redwood Counseling provides ethical, compassionate, confidential, and trauma-informed services designed to support clients’ emotional health, personal growth, and overall well-being. Position Overview

This position is based in our Bloomsburg office. Therapists must be willing to provide in-person services and actively participate in the culture and operations of the practice. While some hybrid flexibility may be available, this is not a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, assessments, and ongoing psychotherapy services within your scope of practice
• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy as clinically appropriate
• Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client
• Complete timely assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and risk documentation
• Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with legal, ethical, and practice requirements
• Utilize SimplePractice and practice technology platforms effectively
• Participate in paid biweekly team meetings, consultation, and practice-wide initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues to support high-quality client care

Team Expectations

All therapists are expected to:

• Practice from a trauma-informed framework
• Attend paid biweekly team meetings
• Participate in consultation and case discussions
• Utilize the practice EHR system consistently and accurately
• Complete documentation according to established practice standards
• Follow practice policies, procedures, and workflows
• Be receptive to feedback, mentorship, and continued professional growth
• Contribute to a collaborative and professional team culture

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical mental health field
• Active Pennsylvania LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LAPC license in good standing
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive, trauma-informed care
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to seek consultation when needed
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable internet connection and a private telehealth setting, if applicable
