Overview

Redstone Dental is looking for a positive, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! We’re a modern, fast-paced practice that values strong teamwork, efficient clinical flow, and an elevated patient experience. We prioritize thorough, patient-centered appointments with a focus on quality over rushing. Schedule

• Part-time or full-time opportunity (2–4 days per week)
• Consistent schedule with a focus on productive, well-paced days

What You’ll Do

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Complete thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and periodontal charting
• Take and review digital radiographs
• Deliver clear, confident patient education on oral health and treatment recommendations
• Partner with the doctor in co-diagnosis and comprehensive care planning
• Capture intraoral photos to support patient understanding and case acceptance
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes in the practice management system
• Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
• Support smooth clinical flow and contribute to a great patient experience

What We’re Looking For

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Alabama
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical knowledge, especially in periodontal care
• Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with patients
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

• Have experience with modern dental tech (digital charting, intraoral scanners, etc.)
• Enjoy patient education and case presentation
