About This Position:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher to lead our "Mountain Movers B" classroom for older 2 year olds this Fall. Your main objective in this position is to lead your team in providing challenging and engaging activities to keep children stimulated, learning, and growing each day. No matter how each child is growing, you can help them reach their highest development and potential. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.

Requirements:
- Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
- CDA, TCC, Associates Degree, or Bachelors Degree in ECCE Related Field
- At Least 2 Years Experience Working in Childcare
- No Criminal Record
- Certified in CPR & First Aid
- Knowledge of Bright from the Start Licensing Rules & Regulations
- Active Church Membership
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote a Christ-centered environment where children can develop to their fullest potential- spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.
- Direct the overall supervision, care, and daily activities in your classroom.
- Utilize daily routines to meet to each child's individual physical and emotional needs, including assisting children with meal times, hand washing, getting to sleep, diapering and toilet-training.
- Implement RCA's curriculum with our research-based, pre-planned, developmentally appropriate activities, including large group sessions, art & drama, music & movement, and enrichment lessons.
- Using our Authentic Assessment System, observe and record how children engage with different activities. Use your observations to know exactly how to best challenge and assist children with future activities.
- Engage in professional and God-honoring communication with each child's parent/guardian each day.
- Observe all rules and regulations at Redstone Children's Academy and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, well-kept classroom that ensures children feel safe and ready to explore and grow with confidence!
- Accept responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom and other common use areas and materials.
- Maintain overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the RCA Staff Handbook.
- Assist in other capacities that the Lil' Movers Director determines is necessary.
