Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new cybersecurity consulting, professional services, and managed security opportunities.
  • Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with security consultants and engineering teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Maintain active relationships with technology partners and referral partners.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue activity.
  • Represent RedLegg at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and security technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying technology or cybersecurity sales experience.
  • Proven success selling cybersecurity services, managed security services, cybersecurity software, or related technology solutions.
  • Experience selling into enterprise and mid-market organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate net-new business opportunities.
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders, IT leaders, and cybersecurity leaders.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cybersecurity consulting and professional services.
  • Experience working for an MSSP, cybersecurity vendor, VAR, security integrator, or consulting firm.
  • Existing relationships within enterprise IT and cybersecurity organizations.
  • Experience working with channel partners and technology alliances.
  • Knowledge of managed security services, penetration testing, incident response, security assessments, vulnerability management, or compliance services.
