Aspiring chefs and cooks please apply. We are not looking for experience, but rather the right type of person. Our Head Chef got his start working dish and now leads a team of 10 talented cooks creating dishes and making hundreds of people happy every day. If you’ve ever thought, you would like to learn how to cook in a restaurant this is a great start for you.

In our kitchen, we believe in the clean dish theory. Meaning you can create the best food in the world, but no one cares if it’s not served on a clean plate. This job is essential to the function of the business. That is why we hold our cleanliness and sanitation to a high standard.

Primary Tasks

You as a prep/dishwasher are responsible for:

·       Cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

·       Prioritizing loading dishes and kitchenware in a timely and sanitary manner

·       Quickly taking direction from the Owner/General Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Service Managers to ensure that we are always staying one step ahead of service demands.

·       Making recipes and a willingness to learn high-level cooking and prepping skills

·       Ensuring kitchen operations meet and exceed all food safety and hygiene standards

·       Assisting chefs in daily prep tasks.

Secondary Tasks

·       Assisting line cooks and chefs in restocking the line and priority tasks

·       Following proper sanitation methods to clean and disinfect kitchen workstations.

·       Taking garbage and trash to the dumpster

·       Taking out the garbage and recycling

·       Assisting in bussing tables when necessary

·       Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors

·       Assembling, maintaining, and breaking down the dish machine
