We provide comprehensive IT management services, including computer sales and support, network architecture, maintenance and repair, access control, VoIP, fire and security alarm systems, and security camera solutions. Our Red1 Builds division specializes in designing and installing low-voltage and life safety systems for new construction and remodel projects.

Description

Red1 is seeking an experienced and organized Construction Project Manager to support our growing IT, low voltage, electrical, and construction divisions. This position is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating with general contractors and site superintendents, overseeing installation crews, attending onsite meetings, and ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards.

The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple active projects across different job sites. Electrical or low voltage experience is preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with general contractors, site superintendents, project managers, vendors, and internal leadership.
  • Attend onsite project meetings, coordination meetings, punch walks, and site surveys.
  • Manage field crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to project requirements.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly crew schedules with the business/operations team.
  • Review project drawings, scopes of work, schedules, and job requirements before and during installation.
  • Perform site surveys and verify existing conditions prior to mobilization.
  • Coordinate with the business team for permits, change orders, material needs, inspections, and crew scheduling.
  • Track job progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify project issues, delays, conflicts, or scope gaps and communicate them quickly.
  • Review and document change order opportunities when additional work is required.
  • Perform quality control inspections of completed work.
  • Ensure crews follow company standards, project specifications, code requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and jobsite logistics.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including photos, notes, punch lists, schedules, and field reports.
  • Assist with closeout documentation, as-builts, inspection coordination, and customer sign-offs.
  • Support project managers and leadership with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field execution.
  • Travel locally and statewide to project sites as needed.


Qualifications

  • Must live in the Tampa/Sarasota, Florida, area.
  • Construction industry experience required.
  • Previous experience managing crews, subcontractors, or field teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction jobsite operations and project coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and jobsite priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to identify field conflicts and help resolve issues quickly.
  • Professional communication with general contractors, superintendents, customers, and internal teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally and statewide as required.


Preferred Experience

  • Electrical or low voltage experience.
  • Fire alarm, access control, security, data, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure experience.
  • Experience working with general contractors and construction schedules.
  • Experience coordinating inspections, permits, and change orders.
  • Experience managing multiple active construction projects.
  • OSHA or jobsite safety training preferred.


Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
