The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) helps to fulfill the nursing care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the LVN will be accountable for ensuring that excellent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the LVN will be accountable for ensuring that excellent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. Responsibilities
Support the Medical Director in the provision of Incidental Medical Services (IMS):
1. Obtaining medical histories;
2. Monitoring health status;
3. Testing associated with detoxification from alcohol or drugs;
4. Providing alcoholism or drug abuse recovery or treatment services;
5. Overseeing patient self-administered medications;
6. Treating substance abuse disorders, including detoxification.
Experience and Required Skills
• Previous recovery center experience (preferred)
• Office/business operation skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Excellent customer service and people skills (including one-on-one interaction and group environment)
• Proven organization and attention to detail
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Valid Driver License/Insurance and clean driving record
• If in personal recovery, a minimum of two (2) years clean and sober
• Current TB test
• Willingness to work some nights and weekends
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Current First Aid and CPR
$26 - $30 per hour
