Description

The Director partners closely with the CEO and leaders across Sales, Account Management, Operations, Engineering, and Human Resources to align marketing priorities with the company’s strategic and financial goals. This leader is accountable for translating company strategy into measurable marketing plans, developing the marketing team, and providing the executive team with clear insight into market conditions, customer behavior, performance, and growth opportunities.

  • ResponsibilitiesServe as the company’s senior marketing leader and executive team representative, contributing market expertise to company strategy, annual planning, organizational priorities, and major business decisions.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s purpose, brand position, revenue goals, and long-term vision.
  • Own lead and demand generation, including prospect nurturing, qualification standards, and effective handoffs to Sales and Account Management.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management leadership to align target markets, ideal customer profiles, campaigns, customer insights, and revenue-growth priorities.
  • Establish marketing goals and report performance to the executive team, including pipeline contribution, customer acquisition costs, return on investment, and other key performance indicators.
  • Strengthen and protect the company’s brand by ensuring clear, compelling, and consistent positioning across digital channels, events, communications, campaigns, sales materials, and promotional content.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team by establishing priorities, setting performance expectations, coaching employees, and ensuring the department has the structure and capabilities needed to support growth.
  • Direct the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, advertising, email, content, communications, events, creative services, product marketing, and executive outreach.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to recommend new segments, products, services, pricing strategies, and approaches for expanding market share.
  • Prepare and manage the marketing department’s budget, allocate resources to high-impact initiatives, evaluate results, and adjust investments based on performance and organizational priorities.
  • Oversee marketing operations and external partnerships, including agencies, technology platforms, product and website updates, marketing inventory, decorated samples, promotional materials, and cross-functional launches.
