25-35hrs/week
Weekdays and 1 alternating Weekend Day
Job Description: We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate who thrives in a small business environment. Flexibility and willingness to engage in various tasks are key. Strong communication skills to make customers feel welcome in-store are essential and ability to advertise online and attract new clientele.
Responsibilities include assisting customers with their needs, answering questions about our products and services, and recommending solutions. The role also involves handling various meats/organs/bones, assisting with packaging, grinding, labeling, and cleaning. Additionally, the candidate will help with online advertising to promote our products and attract new clientele. A positive attitude and a commitment to resolving customer issues promptly are vital. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the store’s profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers
- Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services
- Answer customer inquiries regarding specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to aid purchasing decisions
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Maintain up-to-date inventory
- Assist in the kitchen with machinery, cutlery, cleaning, and disinfecting
- Help manufacture and separate products, working with various animal meats, bones, and organs
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Stay informed about new products/services
- Assist with online advertising and promotions
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
- Experience with CANVA, CHAT GPT, Word, Excel, Hotmail, Social Media
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Comfortable working with RAW meats/organs/bones
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school diploma
- Experience in online advertising is a plus
- Kitchen experience is a plus
Salary
$16.85 - $17.5 per hour
