Ready Rebound is seeking passionate individuals to join our Clinical Services team. The Clinical Services team is a crucial component of the Ready Rebound member experience, connecting injured workers to the right care from their very first contact with us.
This is critical for building long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving the intended outcomes of Ready Rebound services.
About the Navigator role:
The Part Time Navigator is primarily responsible for handling inbound calls and responding to online submissions from injured Ready Rebound members, and for completing the initial New Member Intake to connect each member toward an expedited appointment with a Ready Rebound approved provider within 24-48 hours from the time of contact.
This role requires not only a high degree of orthopedic knowledge to accurately assess injuries over the phone but just as important is the ability of the Navigator to demonstrate a high degree of empathy, compassion, and an ability to develop relationships with members during a New Member Intake.
The Navigator is required to consistently demonstrate a high degree of clinical competency and accuracy while assessing injuries and also demonstrate the same level of accuracy and completeness with their documentation.
While this role is primarily focused on the New Member Intake, the Part Time Navigator may occasionally assist with care coordination tasks such as scheduling appointments with a Ready Rebound approved provider.
The Part Time Navigator represents the Clinical team in all member-facing interactions and must be able to collaborate with other members of the Navigator department as needed.
Navigator Responsibilities:
· The Navigator must Trust, Compassion, Integrity, and Empathy, the Core values of Ready Rebound at all times.
· The Navigator often represents the first interaction members have with Ready Rebound and must strive to develop a relationship with that individual which embodies Rebound's ideals of "people first".
· The Navigator must be committed to serving our members and use all means at their disposal to ensure that the member receives the best care through a Ready Rebound approved provider in an expedited manner.
· Must be available to work the scheduled Part Time hours of Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM Central Time, but may work anywhere in the US.
· Collaborate and communicate with team members within the Navigator department and other Ready Rebound team members, as needed.
· Uphold and strive to further the standards of care already set by Ready Rebound.
· Communicate clearly and succinctly with members to ensure a complete and accurate New Member Intake is obtained.
· Communicate professionally in all forms (text, email, phone call) with Ready Rebound stakeholders, members, providers, and provider offices.
· Must be able to work responsibly and independently while working remotely.
· Perform a New Member Intake with attention to detail and completeness.
· Ensure that all questions that a member has regarding their claim process, treatment options, and scheduling are answered completely and accurately.
· Maintain professional credentialing and updated CEUs within the Navigator's chosen field (i.e., NATA/APTA).
· Acknowledges and accepts that the Navigator will be called upon to complete administrative tasks handed out by Ready Rebound's Leadership.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Experience:
· Minimum of 2 years working within a sports medicine setting/emergency medicine setting
· Experience working at the professional and/or collegiate level of athletics with a history of collaborating with team physicians, coaches, and other members of the sports medicine team preferred.
· Certified Athletic Trainer required.
· Experience working in orthopedic clinic or hospital settings, is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
· Must have a current/active license and be in good standing with governing board Education/Training in sports medicine, emergency medicine, or military medicine also acceptable for review.
Technology:
· Must have a personal computer with reliable, high-speed internet (at least 100 Mbps); all member calls and New Member Intakes are performed on the computer only.
· Must have access to a dedicated, quiet, and private space to conduct member calls and complete intakes without interruption.
· Must possess a working personal cell phone so Ready Rebound can reach the Navigator, and the Navigator can reach Ready Rebound, as needed. All member-facing calls are conducted through the Talkdesk app on the Navigator's laptop, not the cell phone.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Strong sense of personal responsibility, accountability, and self-motivation with a team orientated mindset.
· Must possess superior interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to connect with others and display empathy while problem solving member's individual needs.
· Possess strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic injuries and the recovery process.
· Highly organized and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
· Ability to know when a member's case requires more assistance due to its complexity both from a procedural standpoint and/or anatomical one and prompt perform interventional strategies independent of supervisor oversight.
· Must embrace continuous improvement strategies.
· Possess the ability to recall specific details with accuracy as they relate to where the injured member is calling from and what the region's Worker's Compensation reporting process requires without prior notification.
· Strong typing, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce skills are preferred.
This is a Part Time role and is not eligible for benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.
Salary: $30.00/hr.
