Reach Partners seeks a Senior Architect to help our Clients strategize and implement large transformation programs by architecting and delivering Cloud Based Enterprise Solutions (e-commerce, order management, merchandising, etc.) leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS)/Software as a Service (SaaS) for our Clients.

You must be a collaborative, solutions-driven, articulate team player and an effective and meticulous time manager with strong hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise architectures. Experience with digital, headless eCommerce platforms in the retail industry is highly preferred.

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Work closely with the leadership team to understand business vision and help design program level/enterprise level architecture
• Recommend interim architecture designs/solutions to help client achieve the end goal in step changes
• Architect scalable cost-effective solutions for the client is key to be successful in this role
• Establish enterprise guidelines for all development and operations teams with a bias to building and deploying highly-secure, high-quality applications
• Work closely with the Security team to influence and to adapt to the Security Architecture
• Participate in RFP/tool selection conversations to provide inputs from an architectural lens
• Work with the DevSecOps team to establish a runbook for the client’s long term IT Operations
• Work with the User Interface development, API development and the Quality Assurance leads to influence the detail development and testing guidelines
• Work closely with the Solution Architects to review and finalize the data flows and solution designs to ensure basic architectural concepts are not overseen
• Work with the Data Architects to review and finalize the data models recommended to ensure data modelling concepts are followed
• Mentor and guide junior resources within the firm interested in pursuing a career in Solution Design and Enterprise Architecture
• Assist in building various accelerators and tools that will function as a competitive advantage for the firm in the market 

YOUR BACKGROUND AND WHO YOU ARE:

• Cloud Architecture experience is a must
• 5+ years of experience working as a Solution Architect is a must
• 3+ years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect is highly preferred
• BS in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Hands on development experience is preferred while experience developing in Java is highly preferred
• Architecting Cloud solutions using either Google Cloud Platform, Azure or Amazon Web Services is a must; experience in Google Cloud platform is a highly preferred
• Experience in Data Architecture (data modeling, data management, etc.) is highly preferred
• Should have the ability to work with large unknowns and very little direction
• Should be passionate about designing data infrastructure, platform, reusable frameworks, etc.
• Should have the capability to simplify complex problems in a way leadership from various functions can easily understand
• Should be innovative when solving for problems
