As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly by preparing ingredients, following recipes, and assisting with food preparation. • As a prep cook at RasaRumah, you are expected to know how to prepare each item correctly according to the Chef's recipes.

• You will be expected to maintain an open and regular communication with fellow kitchen staff and management to maintain pars and productive workflow.
• 
  
• You will be expected to maintain walk-in, freezers, fridges, dry storage cleanliness and organization.

• You will be expected to follow Health Department regulations for cleanliness, food handling and food safety.

• Quality and consistency must always be a priority when prepping items.

• It is everyone’s responsibility to create a safe and sanitary place of work, make sure you're constantly cleaning and keeping things organized as you work. This also includes making sure we properly dispose of waste in correct receptacles and keeping it organized in the trash area for our neighbors. 

• Your duties involve using large appliances and knives constantly. Learning how to properly maintain/sharpen/clean them is key for consistency and overall kitchen productivity and safety.
