About This Opportunity:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN), to conduct home health research visits with our clinical trial participants, at assigned dates per patients in the Jacksonville, FL and surrounding area. Hours can vary due to study needs but typically the visits would last for about 2 - 4 hours. Training and expenses paid.
If you don’t have previous clinical research experience, we will provide all the necessary training and professional development, so you can successfully complete the required research assessments during the visits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-visit home assessment phone calls with the study participant’s families and schedule the home health visits
- Travel to patients’ homes and conduct research assessments and questionnaires according to the study requirements
- Administer Investigational Product via IV infusion (if required)
- Monitor patient vitals
- Blood draws, centrifugation, urinalysis and ECGs/EKGs
- Pack and ship the lab samples
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to Investigational Products
- Fill out and submit home health visit documentation to our team
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in the State of FL, compact license preferred
- Previous home health or in-patient experience with pediatric patients
- Experience accessing ports
- Resourceful, proactive, positive attitude
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Reliable transportation to and from patients’ homes
Job Type: Full-time
$50-$65 per hour, depending on experience
