POSITION SUMMARY:
The Learning and Development Specialist (LDS) is an integral member of the Custom Solutions team. The LDS helps plan, design, administer, and facilitate blended learning experiences. After assessing the needs of both the participant and organization (user and purchaser), the LDS assists in the development of custom learning solutions and experiences, including the development of all corresponding materials and interactive processes to deliver to clients through various means of virtual, online, in-person learning, and group discussions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
· Bring curriculum to life through engaging facilitation and meaningful debriefs
· Design creative assets, including slide templates, custom graphics, digital products, videos, self-guided instruction manuals, or online applications
· Facilitate learning groups through discussions, interactive processes, and training using a variety of instructional techniques
· Own the entire lifecycle of a client's training experience. Inclusive of needs assessment, event coordination, logistical support, travel coordination, preparation of slides, follow-up materials, and post-event evaluations
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Experience facilitating in all modalities, including technology platforms, in-person learning, live-virtual training, multi-media, hosted webinars, etc.
· Confident and articulate; comfortable leading engaging presentations to multiple levels of an organization
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Organized, efficient, and a desire to learn and grow
· 5+ years of L&D experience
TRAVEL:
· Some travel is required for trainings held out of Las Vegas
