Our fast-growing personal injury law firm is seeking a Paralegal/Case Manager to support our growing personal injury practice. This role focuses on managing pre-litigation cases, maintaining strong client communication, and ensuring cases move forward efficiently from intake through settlement or litigation referal. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and proactive, with the ability to build trust with clients; many of whom are Spanish-speaking and help guide them through the legal process. While personal injury experience is preferred, it is not required. Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a pre-litigation caseload under attorney supervision
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients (English and Spanish-speaking)
  • Maintain consistent client communication and case updates
  • Request and follow-up on medical records and billing
  • Organize and maintain case documentation in Filevine
  • Assist with gathering liability and damages documentation
  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters and medical providers
  • Track treatment progress to ensure cases are moving forward
  • Assist attorneys with case strategy
  • Maintain accurate case notes and task management
  • Support case transitions if a matter moves to litigation


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Strong client communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable learning or using case management software


Preferred:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience in personal injury law, legal case management, or a similar role
  • Experience with Filevine or other case management systems
  • Experience requesting medical records and billing
  • Familiarity with personal injury case timelines
  • Experience communicating with insurance adjusters  


Work Schedule: 

  • Flexible schedule: core work hours: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)  
  • 40 hours per week  


Additional Information:

Starting wage is negotiable and is dependent on experience. 


Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
