An Afterschool Program Facilitator for RACC is an experienced individual who is passionate about working with youth and has a sincere commitment to racial and education equity.
Raise A Child Carolinas (RACC) is seeking a dedicated Afterschool Program Facilitator to join our team. The salary range for this role is $15 to $17 per hour. This is a temporary 2-4 week position with the opportunity for future employment.
As an Afterschool Program Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary school students by providing engaging and enriching educational activities in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for elementary school students in the afterschool program
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Provide academic and activity support as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and program coordinators
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective program
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary school students
- Passion for working with youth and a commitment to equity in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
-Must be able to utilize programs such as Google Mail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, etc
- Must pass a background check
