Absolute Pest Management, a locally owned and operated company that's been serving the Austin area since 1999, is looking for a motivated, personable and customer-focused inspector with previous sales experience to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll be the face of our company in the field, visiting homes and businesses to assess pest and wildlife issues, determine the scope of the work and present customers with the perfect solution for their needs. You'll be scheduled for inspections through our office team, and when you're out in the field, you'll have the freedom to pursue new opportunities on your own. Whether that means connecting with a property manager, stopping in at a local business or getting involved in one of the many networking groups and chamber events we're already a part of, we encourage you to get out there and make things happen - and earn generous commissions along the way.

Responsibilities at a glance

• Conduct inspections at residential and commercial properties to assess pest and wildlife issues and determine the appropriate scope of work
• Present customers with solutions and close sales
• Follow up on inbound leads scheduled by the office team
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities through networking, relationship-building and involvement in local chambers and business groups
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, quotes and customer interactions in our CRM
• Represent Absolute Pest Management professionally in the community

Requirements

• Proven sales experience preferred; pest control background is a plus
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must obtain required pest control licensing (training provided)
• Must pass a background check
