Position Overview:
The Programs and Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Radical Health’s programming strategy, driving growth through fundraising and business development, and ensuring that our programs deliver meaningful impact to the communities we serve. This position is ideal for a highly motivated and mission-driven individual who is passionate about community health and equity, with a proven track record in program management and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management and Execution
- Lead the development, implementation, and scaling of Radical Health’s programs, including fellowships, case management, and community initiatives.
- Develop and refine program strategies and curricula to align with community needs and organizational goals.
- Build and implement the tech infrastructure required for effective program management, tracking, and evaluation.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of programs, including budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
Fundraising and Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support program growth and sustainability.
- Lead grant research, writing, and reporting processes to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with donors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
- Identify and pursue new revenue-generating opportunities, including partnerships and sponsorships.
Operations and Team Management
- Manage and mentor program staff and contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop annual budgets, strategic plans, and performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain efficient workflows and processes for program and team management.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, policies, and procedures.
Community and Partner Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison between Radical Health and community partners, stakeholders, and participants.
- Represent Radical Health at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote our mission and programs.
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships to support program outreach and impact.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, community development, or a related field.
- Proven success in fundraising and grant writing, with a track record of securing significant funding.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading and scaling community programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy with experience implementing technology solutions for program management and evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about health equity and community empowerment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the healthcare, nonprofit, or social impact sector.
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, especially related to underserved communities and health equity.
- Experience in restorative justice, community health, and enhanced case management.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
